A brief overview...

The Ruby+Ed Story

‘Coming from generations of British shoemakers, including her great granddads company CH, Preston, Isabel, Ruby+Ed’s co-founder grew up surrounded by shoes….after marrying Neil a chemistry graduate and fellow shoe lover they decided to throw caution to the wind and create their own business importing footwear.. Neil was certain there was a place in the world for their beautifully designed and hand crafted slippers’

 And the story of Ruby+Ed begins…

We have three different sections for your reference looking at how we source and create our beautiful faux fur, shape our slippers and develop our stunning range from start to finish. 

Did you know…?

Isabel and Neil have been designing footwear for over 40 years.

Each pair of slippers take over 3 hours to manufacture. Not only this, but we are the only brand that design and develop such a comprehensive collection of new individually designed slippers every season.

We use a higher grade of material for our faux fur, meaning that our faux fur coats are built to last and are denser for greater cosiness! We pride ourselves on high quality and are very proud to now be sold in premium retailers across the world.

Our offices are based in lovely converted stables at Burrough Court on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray (we are very lucky to be surrounded by the beautiful countryside!).
