This week Sienna Miller was spotted wearing another one of our faux fur coats from our AW12 collection. This time she was all wrapped up in our Siberian Stone fur jacket, whilst taking baby Marlowe out for a stroll in the park.

SS13 PRESS DAY

This month we launched our SS13 collection to press in the luxurious penthouse suite of The Sanderson Hotel, in London. Heading down from the countryside, the PR team set up the collection in the bedroom which provided the perfect setting to display the beautiful silk tops and dresses, luxury linen and cotton nightwear, super comfy suede and canvas pumps and soft towel lined slippers. 

Many top journalists came to see the largest clothing collection launched to date, including editors from Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Country Homes and Interiors and Elle Decoration. Guests were given goody bags to take away including a mini Eric giraffe desk companion and a lookbook recently shot in Ronda, Spain. It's a shame we have to wait until next March for the chance to buy pieces from the new range, but until then here is a sneak peek of the collection!

Stores in the spotlight - Sugarbird

Sugarbird in Beverley, East Yorkshire is a truly lovely lifestyle boutique. Owners Emma and Lucy have a real zest for the store, creating a stylish and easy to shop environment. They know what looks good on women of all ages and every time I have visited have offered friendly and honest fashion advice. SIENNA MILLER SPOTTED IN OUR MINK FAUX FUR HOODED COAT

It was a lovely surprise for us to see Sienna Miller photographed again in Ruby+Ed over the weekend. She was spotted hailing a cab in NYC looking uber stylish in our bestselling Mink Hooded Faux Fur Coat styled with Isabel Marant cowboy boots, a designer we also adore. The coat is seen at its best with the hood pulled up, making sure she keeps warm in the winter streets of The Big Apple….we would love to know what would you wear yours with? Perhaps it could be a glamorous coat option to wrap up in over an evening dress this festive party season!

Stores in the spotlight - Attic

Our first store in the spotlight this AW season is Attic, located in Reigate, Surrey. This lovely footwear boutique won the Drapers Footwear & Accessories Award earlier this year and Ruby+Ed are proud to be amongst their selection of brands. The shop was opened 4 years ago by friends Vivien and Gabriella who aim to offer the perfect footwear for every time of year. They believe it is the footwear and accessories that make an outfit and we hope that by offering a selection of Ruby+Ed’s AW12 collection currently in their store customers will find the Autumn season easier to dress for!

We are thrilled to see that three pieces from our AW12 collection have been used in a beautiful GRAZIA feature this month.

Below are pictures from the feature. The model wears our faux fur hooded coat in Jet, and two of our faux fur snoods in Siberian Stone and Bear. Peculiarly the snoods have been used as hats in the feature. Is this a new trend on the horizon, what do you think?

'Awakening' - Autumn Winter 2012 video

We are pleased to present to you ‘Awakening’ the new video for AW12, shot in Ayrshire, Scotland. 

Film synopsis:

Set in a forgotten world, we follow a young woman, lost in the wilderness of a snow storm. Roaming across a great industrial site filled with vast caverns of concrete, exposed brick and abandoned railways, searching for freedom.

Pursuing truth, we watch a slow dance with magical snowfall, whilst the landscape is ravaged by unruly wind and sleet.   

Small yet determined, curious but powerful, playful and altogether otherworldly.

Raw beauty that is both wild and romantic.  

She wears a Jet hooded fur coat draped over a soft sensual layered cloud skirt, her delicate hands covered with praline knit armwarmers, her feet bound by carbon suede ankle boots. Colours are dark and muted.

SIENNA AND SAVANNAH MILLER SPOTTED IN RUBY+ED

We recently posted photos of the lovely Sienna Miller wearing our Holland Blue Suede Lace ups during her last weeks of pregnancy with baby Marlow. We’ve now seen new photos of her and her sister Savannah both sporting our Spring Summer suede pumps and carrying their babies. We have had another lovely review of our AW12 press day by ‘Your Coffee Break’ which is a lifestyle website that discusses the latest trends in fashion and beauty, career advice and celebrity style. It is definitely one of our favourite websites to visit on our lunch break in the office!!

The editor of the article loved the collection especially our iconic slipper range and our new line of irresistible faux fur coats. She writes, ‘As part of Ruby+Ed’s fall line, they’ve brilliantly revived the faux fur coat. As you may know last week we revealed our AW12 collection to journalists and bloggers at our AW12 press day. It was such a treat to meet so many people that were as excited about our new collection as we are.

AW12 PRESS DAY

The PR Manager, Olivia, Brand Director, Nazia and Creative Design Manger, Ed, recently went to London to launch the new Ruby+Ed AW12 collection to press, the event was held at the beautiful Music Room on South Molton Lane.

Ruby+Ed displayed their luxurious collection of iconic slippers, home accessories, nightwear and faux fur coats to a number of key journalists, celebrity stylists and bloggers. The day was a huge success and we have some sneak preview shots of the collection and of some glamorous attendees!!

SIENNA MILLER SPOTTED WEARING RUBY+ED

Last week actress and style icon Sienna Miller famous for roles in the Factory Girl and Alfie was spotted in London wearing a pair of Ruby+Ed Holland Blue suede lace ups. The actress was out with her mother when she bumped into Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky.
