SS13 PRESS DAY

This month we launched our SS13 collection to press in the luxurious penthouse suite of The Sanderson Hotel, in London. Heading down from the countryside, the PR team set up the collection in the bedroom which provided the perfect setting to display the beautiful silk tops and dresses, luxury linen and cotton nightwear, super comfy suede and canvas pumps and soft towel lined slippers. 

Many top journalists came to see the largest clothing collection launched to date, including editors from Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Country Homes and Interiors and Elle Decoration. Guests were given goody bags to take away including a mini Eric giraffe desk companion and a lookbook recently shot in Ronda, Spain. It's a shame we have to wait until next March for the chance to buy pieces from the new range, but until then here is a sneak peek of the collection!

Stores in the spotlight - Sugarbird

Sugarbird in Beverley, East Yorkshire is a truly lovely lifestyle boutique. Owners Emma and Lucy have a real zest for the store, creating a stylish and easy to shop environment. They know what looks good on women of all ages and every time I have visited have offered friendly and honest fashion advice. Carrying some fantastic brands this store is a real gem of the North. This Christmas you can find our signature velvet bow ballerinas, faux fur coats and other accessories so be sure to pop by and indulge.

SIENNA MILLER SPOTTED IN OUR MINK FAUX FUR HOODED COAT

It was a lovely surprise for us to see Sienna Miller photographed again in Ruby+Ed over the weekend. She was spotted hailing a cab in NYC looking uber stylish in our bestselling Mink Hooded Faux Fur Coat styled with Isabel Marant cowboy boots, a designer we also adore. The coat is seen at its best with the hood pulled up, making sure she keeps warm in the winter streets of The Big Apple….we would love to know what would you wear yours with? Perhaps it could be a glamorous coat option to wrap up in over an evening dress this festive party season!

Stores in the spotlight - Attic

Our first store in the spotlight this AW season is Attic, located in Reigate, Surrey. This lovely footwear boutique won the Drapers Footwear & Accessories Award earlier this year and Ruby+Ed are proud to be amongst their selection of brands. The shop was opened 4 years ago by friends Vivien and Gabriella who aim to offer the perfect footwear for every time of year. They believe it is the footwear and accessories that make an outfit and we hope that by offering a selection of Ruby+Ed’s AW12 collection currently in their store customers will find the Autumn season easier to dress for!
