Faux fur has exploded this season, with numerous celebrities such as the beautiful Kendall Jenner sporting the trend, whilst AW14 catwalks have sparked it's new found popularity.

Now it’s coming up to Christmas, we know you’ll soon have the invites flooding in for various parties, work dos and of course New Year’s eve celebrations – you’ll probably wonder how your wardrobe will ever keep up!

CHRISTMAS IS ON IT'S WAY!

It's time to get festive, it’s November already and Christmas is only seven weeks away!! Here at Ruby + Ed we think you can never be too prepared for the season, not to mention the fact we lovee buying presents!

REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5th OF NOVEMBER

It’s that time of year again - whether you’re celebrating from a cosy pub, muddy field or your own back garden- stay warm and stylish with Ruby + Ed this coming bonfire night. - We can't wait!

NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS!

Start your week with a scare. It’s that spooky time of year again, just five days until the witches and ghosts come back out to play…we’re getting seriously pump(kin)ed for Halloween!! (Excuse the terrible pun!)

What to wear…

If you aren’t feeling too adventurous this year then why not opt for the classic black cat? We really like this makeup idea, so simple and easy, so no excuses!

SWAP YOUR STILETTOS FOR SLIPPERS

As the days slowly become shorter, darker and colder (brr) the Ruby+Ed team have swapped their stilettos for slippers. This week we’re all looking forward to staying cosy at home on the weekend.

Snuggling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and hot water bottle (can’t wait!) is all we want to do when it’s so miserable outside. It also helps save up for all those Christmas gifts.

We will look ahead to a weekend of lounging in our slippers (in my case- the thistle velvet bow ballerinas!) to watch the X factor. There are a few clear favourites in the office from this year’s candidates. Saj our marketing coordinator and myself are routing for Lauren, her cover of happy was amazing! Whilst, Laura our project manager is backing Jake! I can tell this is going to get competitive...

The Apprentice on Tuesday- very excited that it’s back! What do you think of the new candidates? We all liked team Tenacity’s idea of a jacket that charges your phone- not sure about the solar panel shoulder pads though!

And of course, our favourite, ‘Made in Chelsea’ is back!! Did you see the lovely Billie (from MIC: NY) wearing our gorgeous Husky fur jacket recently?!
